About the Datathon
Are you ready to leverage data and machine learning for better healthcare? Join the I2DB Datathon, a prelude to the I2DB Annual Symposium on April 13, 2026. This event is a unique opportunity for data enthusiasts to develop risk prediction models in medicine and showcase their work to leading experts in the field with the potential to impact patient care. This Datathon focuses on building risk prediction models using synthetic medical data (IRB preapproved). Participants will receive a training dataset at the start of the event and will have 3 weeks to develop their models using machine learning methods to analyze the synthetic data. The challenge culminates in a presentation at the I2DB Annual Symposium, where finalists will present their work to a panel of judges. Final placements will be determined based on model performance, innovation, and the quality of the presentation. The deadline to register is Monday, March 23, 2026.
